J.S. Bach – WTC I – Preludium & Fuga I played by me

Bored by learning theoretical electro dynamics I just realized, that I can produce records with my computer and my clavinova.

This are untouched records. So no mastering, no cutting, nothing. Just clavinova ->3.5 mm ->cinch -> amplifier (because I had no 3.5/3.5 cable I had to use the amplifier as an adapter) ->cinch/3.5 mm -> soundcard ->Some random record tool.  And with cruel mistakes.

I think I’m going to do this again in a week or two (have to learn for university). But I like to give you an impression of the working progress even behind such “easy” pieces of music.

There are two takes of the Preludium. Couldn’t decide which tempo to take, I think both are wrong. The truth lays somewhere in between. Next week.

And the alternate version, but think about to hear the fugue directly after the preludium. Fits better ;-)

And there are a lot of unsecure parts in the fugue. I hope you enjoy despite that.

P.S.: If the player doesn’t work, I don’t know why, just click the download link. And I’m sorry, that the files are quite quiet. Next time I will correct that.
Update: The player didn’t work because he doesn’t know the “strange” German letter ä… I fixed it. After hours of bugsearch…
